Every time you think I've learned my lesson about making cringey videos I go out and make another one. But this isn't tag video or anything like that. It's an unboxing and how hard can it be to mess that up? Sure, the quality of the video and the sound are both terrible and painful to watch and listen to, and this goes on for longer than it should, and it could do with a lot of editing, but it was fun to make, okay? I explain most of this in the video, but I'll tell it to you here again anyway. Both of my jobs are in libraries and because I work in the coolest places ever you won't be surprised to learn that I have the coolest coworkers ever. Seriously, almost everyone I've met who works in a library is pretty darn cool. Some of my coworkers and I love to talk about books we've read together, especially YA/Teen books. On top of getting really excited about books with me, these coworkers are just wonderful people. They always make me smile and can cheer me up even on gloomy Monday mornings when I just want to go back to bed. They are so sweet and I couldn't ask for better work friends (they're my friends from work!). One of these amazing work friends of mine, Erin, was super sweet and generous and sent me an Owlcrate box! If you don't know what Owlcrate is, basically it is a treasure box that you subscribe to. They are a monthly subscription service which sends you a YA/Teen book (or kids book if you do Owlcrate Jr.) for however many months you choose along with several goodies to fit a theme. This month's theme was Music of the Night (cue organ music) and I decided to film myself opening it since I like to watch other people open their subscription boxes and since this is such a special occasion it needs to be recorded. Anyway, enough rambling from me! I just want to thank Erin again because you are so wonderful and when we don't have to social distance anymore I'm going to give you a hug! ♥
